With over 700 words divided into 30 word sets, the app emphasizes incremental learning by introducing one letter or group at a time, reinforcing previously learned concepts while gradually introducing new ones. Children can actively participate by choosing which letters to replace, providing a dynamic learning experience with a fresh set of words each time they engage with the app.
In the Read Mode, animated letters form words on the screen that "fall asleep." To hear the sound each letter makes, children must "awaken" them one by one until the entire word can be read aloud. By interacting with the letters, children unveil a new word for continued practice.
The Spell Mode allows children to construct words by dragging letters onto a line. Each letter's sound is vocalized upon touch, aiding in spelling accuracy. Visual cues indicate if the word has been spelled correctly, all accompanied by engaging animations.
Both modes focus on gradually replacing one letter or part of a word at a time, facilitating continuous learning and solidifying children's grasp of phonics concepts through hands-on practice.
